Tribus wins Taxi Innovation Award
The yearly Dutch Taxi Innovation Prize was awarded at the Taxi Expo 2017 event in Houten. This award is a recognition for the excellence of an innovation project on the Dutch Taxi Market. Tribus has been chosen as the winner of the Taxi Innovation Prize 2017 with its electric taxi minibus “e-Ducato”. With a range of 220 km and a total weight under 3500 kg GVW (driving license B), the e-Ducato is one of a kind.

E-Ducato specifications
The e-Ducato is a wheelchair accessible minbus and can accommodate 8 passengers, including wheelchair users. Ideal for public transport, taxi, shuttle and airport transfer services. The electric drive lane consists of a 60kW electric motor plus a 76 kWh battery and this provides a range up to 220 km Zero Emission! The charging time is 3.5 hours with a maximum of 19 kW per hour through a Type2 plug.
