CES® the Global Stage for Innovation
From 11-14 January
CES® is the most influential tech event in the world — the proving ground for breakthrough technologies and global innovators. This is where the world’s biggest brands do business and meet new partners, and the sharpest innovators hit the stage. Owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)®, CES features every aspect of the tech sector.
The international tech-event is normally held in Las Vegas, America. Due to corona this year’s event is completely online, providing its attendees a worldwide platform to discover the most influential tech products. Tribus is selected by the Dutch government to represent the Dutch Innovation in the topic Smart Cities and Resilience with its innovative product Movitas; The e-bus the world is waiting for.

Showcase Tribus at CES2021
The Challange
The climate is changing rapidly and air pollution in cities keeps increasing due to high numbers of internal combustion vehicles. The world demands a new way of transport. What if we could create an energy efficient zero emission bus that can transport a great number of passengers into the old narrow inner cities?
Our solution
From scratch, Tribus designed an electric midi-bus; Movitas. Thanks to its compact dimensions, standard 4-wheel steering and many sustainable solutions to reduce energy consumption; like a heat pump, solar panels, double glazing and many more, this e-bus is a real game-changer.
The Movitas is lightweight, modular and available in length sizes from 8,20 – 9,7m. It can transport an equal amount of passengers as a 12 m bus thanks to the flat floor. The battery packs can be located in the floor, rear and roof, and charged by opportunity or depot charging.
