Lindlar had a number of requirements for their new vehicle, but the Civitas Economy checked them all. And when it comes to the interior design, the new vehicle is similar to the "large regular-service buses" both visually and technically.

The Dutch company Tribus has entered the German market with their wheelchair restraint solution TriflexAIR. Tribus will present TriflexAIR and a sneakpreview of the ultralight flooring system TriflexAIR 2.0 at RettMobil in Fulda from 11-13 May, booth 6 in hall 6.
Currently, the automobile industry is moving away from internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles and pushing towards electric vehicles (EVs). This industry was built on fossil fuels, and the resulting infrastructure isn’t always EV-friendly.
Light constructing is becoming increasingly important due to new technologies like electric driving. After a period of engineering, the new TriflexAIR 2.0 floor is ready for field testing. The first buses have left our workshop to be subjected to a field test. Our Dutch customers will test the system in their daily practices.
Thanks to a good collaboration between conversion partner Bayer and Tribus we were able to fast deliver a Ford Transit wheelchair bus to the German welfare organization ASB. Thanks to our efforts the Daycare of ASB can now safely transport all their passengers.
A delegation from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management visited Tribus for the working visit Urban Mobility. We shared our knowledge about zero-emission passenger transport and afterwards we discussed about the challenges towards a successful transition.
Sir Wolfgang Craen of Bügerbus foundation Wermelskirchen received the Civitas Economy on November 26 after which an official handover followed. The vehicle will be used for passenger transport in Cologne (Germany) and that is exactly where the Civitas excels; Small-scale public transport.
Innovation is in our DNA. That is why we are launching the Tribus Test Center. Thanks to our own test equipment our engineers can receive extended insights into the strength of our materials and deep learning in how combinations of materials can enhance safety.
